Transworld has engaged in project assessment, feasibility and management in the
primary resources sectors within South Asia .
Its current projects include....
- GOLD EXPLORATION - INDIA
Participation in securing gold exploration rights and joint venture agreement with
the Government of India and others with regard to the rehabilitation of an historical
gold mine, Bharat Gold Mines Ltd ('BGML') previously a public sector undertaking,
with extraction of 30+ tonnes of gold from historical tailings deposits and working
of existing gold deposits through open caste mining.
- GAS EXPLORATION - BANGLADESH
In 1997, members of the Transworld team identified major gas exploration opportunities
in the Bay of Bengal Bangladesh, which is one of the foremost hydrocarbon areas
of the world.
